WELCOME

This is my blog (now there is a surprise!). I will be sticking in it poetry, prose, random musings, things that take my fancy and more than likely lots of pictures of cats. I hope you find something to amuse and/or interest you here.

Book of Love - chapter 7

Self - Tanka

I'm cheating here,  This is in response to Jl Dodges Prompt for the week but I am also including it in the One Shot Wednesday.

Friends say they love me,
My family show they care.
Animals trust me.
Have I the courage to risk
Loving myself a little?

  2. if you don't love yourself, loving others is harder still. You obliviously have love for all who you let into your life,be they animals or people.

  3. Dear Penny

Self loving comes from the movement we dig deeper, get in touch with innerself.. we are scared of knowing our deeper desires, feeling and thoughts as we are bound by societal limitations where as our thoughts are not... so we always feel that we are not so good as other thinks... but slowly you get to realise that we are pure deep inside, its only the coloration of the outside that tint our vision... so loving oneself is great... if done within...
I am grateful that your verse got me thinking about it.. its so beautiful way you have put it here..
    Thanks for sharing...
