Simply pick a poem from the calendar, and then write a poem that responds or engages with your chosen Plath poem in some way."
I chose little fugue
So, scolded by the yew tree's scorn
the willow weeps its jealousy
its green tinged branches, limply borne,
are drooped in abject misery
while crying verdant catkin tears
which land on cloud reflecting grey
where, greeted with cold-rippled jeers,
they swiftly sink and wash away.
